Viviane Namaste, the feminist scholar active in sexual health research and transsexual studies, from Montréal, Québec, will be giving two talks in Sydney in late October: a community based one on Mon Oct 20, 6:30-9pm at the Sydney Mechanics School of the Arts, 280 Pitt St, CITY and a more academic one on Wed Oct 22, 4-6pm, University of Sydney, on the place of the transgender
