A simple question…
A simple question…
So the folk over at SM Feminists have me thinking, and wondering the following: When, exactly, did what goes on in the bedrooms of consenting adult women become a feminist issue? No, we’re not talking porn here. No, were not talking coerced or forced women. We’re talking consenting adult women with the ability to make choices and decisions for themselves. When did their sex lives and preferences become a feminist issue…
…and further more, why is what they do anyone else’s business? I mean, okay…I like to get drilled up the ass while in a chokehold or whatever. Trinity likes to give her lover a hard flogging or whatnot. Belle likes women. Amber likes men. All of us are adults capable of vocalizing what we do and do not enjoy. So…
…what? Examination has happened. Cultural influence has been noted. This has changed nothing as far as our sexual preferences go. A direct and thought out choice has been made, so how is this a feminist issue worth so much discussion, and further more, why actually care that much about what is going on in the bedrooms of other consenting adult human beings?
I mean really…Sarah Palin as a VP candidate or…kinky stuff adults do with their partners…hummm, which is the more pressing feminist issue?
