Bollox is a queer club night that happens at the third Friday of every month. Its slogan, “Never Mind the Gay Scene, Here’s Our Bollox!” seems to sum it up, really. Unlike the clubs in the Village, Bollox plays refreshingly alternative music and not only the same old songs that we’ve all heard before when we were here last time. It’s a fun night out, you’re bound to see people there that you wouldn’t see in other places in the Village and that’s part of the reason Bollox is so wonderfully diverse and welcoming. We’re a society in the University of Bradford Union but we’re open to everyone: If you want to creatively protest the great injustices of the world, then you’re welcome here. If you’ve got rhythm, its a bonus, but its not essential. We’re always looking for new members, so please get involved.
